Safe Handling Information

  • Storage and Handling:
    Store in a cool, dry area. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Store away from oxidising agents.
  • Spills and Disposal:
    Avoid rising dust. Shovel into plastic container. Flush excess with water into sewer.
  • Fire/Explosion Hazard:
    When burning, products may give rise to noxious fumes. If smoke or fumes are given off, wear self contained breathing apparatus. Do not Spray water on to material if burning. Spread material to dissipate heat and smother the fire to extinguish.

This material contains a waste product from poultry sheds and abattoirs.

It has undergone biological stabilisation and treatment to further reduce pathogens including on site storage and composting. Care however in its handling and avoiding unnecessary contact is recommended.
